Youth football in Miami is a hotbed of talent. Lots of youth football players are getting scholarships to Miami, LSU, Florida Gators and Alabama. Miami has lots of youth football leagues like Greater Miami Pop Warner, Miami Xtreme Youth Football League, Florida Youth Football League and more. Miami youth football has a great rivalry with its neighbor to the north Fort Lauderdale.

Kendall Boys and Girls Club beats West Miramar Patriots 105s in 2012 Superbowl

The Miami Dade Xtreme Youth Football league ended this weekend with The undefeated West Miramar Patriots 105s getting upset by Kendall Boys and Girls Club Kolts 12-6. West Miramar scored on the first possession and that was it. Kike Martinez took this pick 6 to the house to win the game. Look at the Coaches expression on the other sideline!

Wild season in Miami Dade Xtreme Youth Football League

The Miami Dade Youth Football League has had some wild moments. The most publicized was the West Park Saints vs West Miramar Patriots 105s game where the West Park Coach disagreed will a call and went on the field and punched the ref.
Tamiami Colts also made news by forfeiting all there wins for having a 12 year old on the 11u team.
Miami Lakes Jaguars also lost there home park and head Coach in the 105s.

Playoffs 2012 Doral Broncos vs West Miramar Patriots 105s 11u

The Miami Dade Xtreme Youth Football League playoffs are down to the conference championships.  The 2 games remaining in the 105s 11u division are the Doral Broncos 9-2 vs West Miramar Patriots 11-0 for the Coastal Championship. Week 9 Doral Broncos defeat Miami Springs Hawks 12-6

Doral Broncos went to 6-3 and all but locked up the 4th seed in the Miami Dade Xtreme Youth Football League 105 lb division playoffs. Brandon Cohen had 130 yards rushing and 2touchdowns and middle linebacker Crash Hamilton had 11tackles and a fumble recovery to lead the defense. Next up is North Miami Beach Sun devils. Doral Broncos will probably play undefeated West Miramar Patriots in the first round of the playoffs.

Week 8 Doral Broncos 105s spank Dania Bears 20-6

Doral Broncos defense lead by Crash Hamilton and Jonathan Lorenzo smashed Dania Beach Bears 20-6. QB Joseph Rodriguez threw 2 touchdown passes and Johnny Vega had another interception in as many games.

Week 4 Doral Broncos defeat Tamiami Colts 12-0

The 11u 105lbs Doral Broncos defeated a tough Tamiami Colts team by 12-0. Brandon Psycho B Cohen had 9 carries for 145 yards and 1 touchdown. Jonathan Lorenzo had 50 yards and a touchdown. The defense lead by Crash Hamilton had 4 solo tackles and 7 assists and Steven Snowman Gonzales had 5 solo tackles and 4 assists.

Whats your favorite defense to run in youth football

Some Coaches have the personel to run a 4x4 and some need to run a 6x2. I believe you run a defense based on the type of players you have. You cant force a 4x4 if you dont have intelligent athletic linebackers to make plays. most teams in the Miami Dade Xtreme Youth Football League run a 5x3

Who has the Best Team in 2012, Team, Weight and Why?

I know the Kendall Boys and Girls Club 135's picked up some of Doral Broncos best players. West Park Hurricanes 105's would be good but not sure they are staying in the MDXYFL, anyone know their status?
